Hey! I am Rizana Riyaz and I was a participant of the ISCOMS 2018, 2019 and 2021 and the IRF 2018. I am currently a Master student at the University of Sheffield. I am an MBBS graduate from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, MAHE, India. ISCOMS was one of the best experiences of my entire career as a medical student. The congress is a once in a lifetime experience and made me realize the various options in research I can possibly take up. Three weeks I spent at ISCOMS 2018 and IRF 2018 was truly a ‘Science beyond Borders’ experience for me. ISCOMS 2019 was also an excellent opportunity to learn and explore new things. Hello everyone! My name is Alice Chimwemwe Mnyanga, a Master of Science student at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) in Malawi, Africa. I was privileged to attend ISCOMS in 2022 for the first time and I learned so much through the keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations, laboratory tours, and many other educational and recreational activities. My name is Ahmed Alsoufi, and I am a fourth-year medical student and healthcare technology researcher at Tripoli University. Recently, I had the honor of attending the International Student Congress Of Medical Sciences (ISCOMS) in the beautiful city of Groningen. The congress was an exceptional event that seamlessly integrated cutting-edge knowledge, practical skills, and enjoyable networking opportunities. It provided me with a unique platform to connect with numerous young researchers and medical students from diverse corners of the globe, facilitating the exchange of valuable ideas and experiences across a range of research fields. This experience broadened my horizons and expanded my network within the medical research community.

Furthermore, I had the opportunity to undertake a research fellowship at the Radiology department after the congress, which was an invaluable experience that enhanced my understanding of radiology and its impact on patient outcomes. Being exposed to cutting-edge technologies in ultrasound and nuclear medicine allowed me to expand my knowledge and skills in healthcare technology. This experience has motivated me to pursue a career in healthcare technology research and contribute towards the development of innovative solutions that can revolutionize the healthcare industry.

I am a 4th year medical student at Eskisehir Osmangazi University. On 2023, I attended ISCOMS as a presenting participant. My oral presentation session was wonderful. Although I didn’t win the session award, I had a great time. Networking opportunities are also very advanced in ISCOMS all of the participants are very engaging and willing to start a chat. I also attended IRF 2023, that is a whole other experience which I recommend every active participant to apply for. Those two weeks really taught me a lot, in terms of research and life perspective. The social activities also top notch one might say, you cannot describe it you must experience it. That is what I have to say for now. Hopefully, we’ll meet at ISCOMS 2024.

My first participation in ISCOMS was in 2023, It was a great experience for me. I learnt a lot about the medical workshops and made quality connections with medical students,professors,doctors and researchers from different parts of the world.
I would recommend ISCOMS to people who are interested in research and acquisition of advanced medical knowledge.

Hello everyone, here it is Dario Bottignole, MD, first year resident in Neurology and active researcher in Medical Education. I took part at the 2023 edition of the ISCOMS and I had the opportunity of presenting my graduation thesis, and it has been a cutting-edge moment for my academic experience until that moment. I had the opportunity of sharing what I love with an incredible amount of bright minds, and the wide heterogeneity of people fostered continuous discussions and exchange of knowledges. Social activities and spare moments helped knowing better each other, and we had the opportunity of properly enjoying ourselves and our experience in Groningen (which actually left me speechless). I came back home with a considerable number of new friends, but even more ideas and energies for doing better day by day: it has been an unforgettable experience without any doubt!

My name is Unzila Saifi and I am a 4th year medical student. I am originally from India and currently studying in batumi, georgia. Here in Georgia i am actually a transfer student previously I was in Ukraine but due to the Russia Ukraine war, I had to take transfer. I am very passionate about my degree and i want to be a great doctor one day. I love to read, and maintain a journal. Hello! My name is Elene, I am fifth course medical student at Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy. I am passionate about pursuing a career in women’s health, my main field of interest is Obstetrics and Gynecology. During five year studying in TMA I have been very active, participated in many researches, from which one “Humoral and Cellular Immune Responses After SARS-COV-2 Infection” I have presented at ISCOMS 2023. Now I am also working on my own research project which is dedicated to women’s health. ISCOMS 2023 was extremely inspirational and fantastic experience, that’s why I decided to became an ISCOMS ambassador.
