Sustainability Award

This year, we once again presented the Sustainability Award, which was given to a participant who had demonstrated exceptional commitment to sustainability. Whether through personal choices, innovative initiatives, or an inspiring contribution to a more sustainable future, the recipient of this award clearly showed dedication to making a positive impact on the world in the past year.
The winner received a prize of €150 in recognition of their efforts towards sustainability. We encouraged everyone to share their story with us. Have you implemented sustainable initiatives in your daily life, or have you been involved in a project that makes the world a greener place? Perhaps you’ve become more aware of the impact of your choices and have taken steps to live more sustainably. This is your opportunity to be recognised for your contributions.
By submitting a brief entry of up to 350 words, participants could explain what they had done to promote sustainability, why it was important, and what their future plans were in this area.
By highlighting these efforts, we aimed to inspire others and promote a culture of sustainability within the scientific community. The winner was selected by the Research & Development Committee of ISCOMS.
