ISCOMS for Charity

ISCOMS 2025 is proud to support ‘Vrienden Beatrix Kinderziekenhuis’ this year! The aim of ‘Vrienden Beatrix Kinderziekenhuis’ is to make the stay of children and parents in the Beatrix Children’s Hospital as comfortable and enjoyable as they can be.

The foundation funds projects that enhance the living and recreational spaces for patients and their families. Additionally, they support scientific research and innovative initiatives, which provides sick children with better treatment or improved quality of life. When resources are limited from the hospital, government, or health insurers, Vrienden Beatrix Kinderziekenhuis steps in to raise funds, making these vital projects possible.

Throughout the year, the ISCOMS Organising Committee hosts several fundraising events to raise as much money as possible. Students of our organisation have been growing their moustaches for ‘Movember,’ and we will also organise a pub quiz. In February we will participate in the ‘Nacht van Groningen,’ running 10 km, 16 km, or even a half marathon to support our charity!
