Sustainability Award

To honour participants who demonstrate outstanding efforts in sustainable travel, ISCOMS presents the Sustainability Award. The participant who made the greatest effort to minimise their carbon footprint while attending ISCOMS 2025 was awarded a €150 cheque, which was presented at the Award & Closing Ceremony.

To apply, participants had to submit a motivational letter (max. 350 words) before the 1st of May, explaining why sustainability is important to you. Share personal experiences, values, and goals regarding environmental responsibility.
Additionally, provide evidence of your sustainable travel arrangements, such as the use of public transport, carpooling, cycling, walking, or eco-friendly accommodation choices.

By highlighting these efforts, we aim to inspire others and promote a culture of sustainability within the scientific community. The winner was selected by the Research & Development committee of ISCOMS.
